Kansas Sustainable Agriculture SeriesPublished Reports
Introduction to the Kansas Sustainable Agriculture Series:The Kansas Sustainable Agriculture Series is produced at Kansas State University. The series is designed primarily for the people of Kansas and is devoted to issues relating to sustainable agriculture. This series does not claim to include all the activities relating to sustainable agriculture in the state but is intended to provide a focal point for those that particularly emphasize collaboration within and among Kansas State University departments and other institutions and individuals, particularly farmers. Therefore, the audience targeted for this series is not exclusively academic but also includes all those interested in sustainable agriculture, from farmers to conservationists and any others in the public and private sectors, particularly in Kansas. Very limited numbers of these reports are produced in printed form. The Kansas Rural Center, a nonprofit independent organization devoted to promoting sustainable agriculture practices in the state of Kansas is providing the funding support for the printed series. Individuals and institutions are encouraged to photocopy reports if they require additional copies. If individuals or institutions wish to be put on the mailing list for future reports, they should contact one of the collaborators listed below. There is a limit of one copy per person or institution. Alternatively, reports can be downloaded from this web site. If materials are accessed in such a manner, acknowledgment of the source would be appreciated. The reports include materials relating to research results, experiences concerning sustainable agriculture, and thought pieces about sustainable agriculture. Kansas State University does not necessarily subscribe to the opinions and findings in the reports. They are the responsibilities of the authors alone.
